Managing social media for the new national second-tier competition

Living and working in Australia in 2025, I was brought in to work directly on the Aus Championship accounts during a hugely successful inaugural season.

We built the channels from near-scratch into a fully established presence in the lead-up to the competition, generating hype around a monumental moment in Australian football history.

During the tournament, I played a leading role in content planning and delivery, as well as live match coverage across key fixtures, working as part of a wider team of freelancers.

I additionally provided support to Socceroos (men’s national team) and Australia Cup socials during the 2025/26 season.
