Who is Brody Robertson? – Alfreton Town’s New Striker

Today Cleethorpes Town have confirmed that striker Body Robertson has left the club for National League North side Alfreton Town; following former director of football John McDermott to Derbyshire.

Robertson helped Cleethropes to a Northern Counties East League Premier title as well as the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy this past season at The Bradley Football Development Centre.

He also led the line for the Grimsby-based side at Wembley in their FA Vase Final defeat to South Shields in May.

The striker makes the step up to the sixth tier of English football with a prolific scoring record which saw Robertson score 41 goals in the 2014/15 season and 28 goals in the 2016/17 season.

On top of moving up three divisions Robertson will be playing in front of an average attendance of 546, compared to Cleethorpes’ average attendance of 193.
